About This Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Erwin Mesias ("developer", "I", "me") operates the TimeKana iOS application and the website at timekana.mesi.dev (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Data Collection
TimeKana collects no personal data whatsoever. There are no user accounts, no registration, no login, no contact forms, and no analytics. I do not collect your name, email address, device identifiers, IP address, location, or any other information that could identify you.
Local Storage (iOS App)
The iOS app stores two preference values on your device — your chosen time format (12h, 24h, or device default) and your appearance setting (light or dark). These are saved using Apple's UserDefaults within a shared App Group (group.dev.mesi.TimeKana) so that the Home Screen widget can read the same preferences. This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to the developer or any third party.
Network Access
The iOS app makes no network requests of any kind. All time calculation and display happens entirely on-device. The website is a static informational page and does not transmit any user data to a server.
Third-Party SDKs & Tracking
TimeKana uses no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. The app does not participate in cross-app tracking and will always report "Ask App Not to Track" as not applicable — there is nothing to track. Apple may independently collect certain aggregated, anonymized diagnostics as described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
TimeKana does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). The app is safe for all ages.
Data Sharing
Because no data is collected, no data is shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party under any circumstances.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Given the nature of the app — no data collection — significant changes are not anticipated.
